Tarpon Snook Sharks

Snook season open every year on February 1st and lasts until the end of May when it closes - catch and release only during the summer spawning season.  It reopens on September 1st and lasts until December 15th - closing until the following February.

Here's a 32" keeper that I caught on February 2nd - a twin of the 32"keeper that I caught the previous February 2nd.

There's a 60 LB Bull Shark on the end of my line -but I have 400 Yards of 45lb Power Pro, which is easily enough to wear out this guy.

I'm fishing in my neighborhood behind the Jockey Club where I've been spooled by sharks of several hundred pounds. Win some,lose some.
